Turtle release

On Friday 30th June the EkoSkola committee members made their way to Ġnejna Bay to watch the release of Cheetah. Cheetah is a turtle that was rescued after ingesting a lot of plastic debris. The committee members pooled in between them to sponsor Cheetah until the vet gave the go ahead for it to be released. It was truly a proud moment to see that their input helped for its release back into the sea.

L-Itwal Katina minn Karti Riċiklati

It-tfal tas-sitt sena, waqqfu rekord nazzjonali gdid tal-itwal katina magħmula minn karti riċiklati, b’tul ta’ 1524 metru. Il-karti użati  fil-fatt kienu l-karti li t-tfal użaw għar-reviżjoni tal-eżamijiet tal-Benchmark u minflok intremew inħoloq dan ir-rekord oriġinali għall-gżejjer Maltin. Il-ħoloq tal-katina tal-karti ġew magħqudin bi staplers. Din kienet opportunità fejn it-tfal ħadmu bħala tim u għinu lil xulxin biex joħolqu l-itwal katina possibbli fi żmien qasir.  Tassew kburin bl-istudenti tagħna.
