The office of the College principal would like to inform the parents of Year 06 students that the deadline to submit the Year 07 Induction form to Handaq Middle School is Friday 28^th July 2023.

The Science Centre, Pembroke within the Directorate for STEM and VET Programmes is currently launching the 9th edition of the Junior Science Club. This after-school programme has been extended further and will be held in twelve different localities in collaboration with Għarb, Ħ’Attard, Ħal Lija, Ħaż-Żebbuġ, Marsaxlokk, Naxxar, Pembroke, St Paul’s Bay, Victoria, Żabbar, Żejtun and Żurrieq and Local Councils.
The Junior Science Club aims to provide young students (ages 7 to 11) opportunities to experience science investigations and practical science-related activities that extend their learning beyond the classroom environment. During the sessions, the students practise science-related process skills and nurture problemsolving, critical thinking, communication and self-appraisal skills and competences.

Iċ-Ċentru tax-Xjenza, Pembroke fi ħdan id-Direttorat għas-suġġetti STEM u VET bħalissa qed iniedi d- disa’ edizzjoni tal-Junior Science Club. Dan il-programm li jiġi offrut wara l-ħin tal-iskola, ġie estiż aktar u se jsir fi tnax-il lokalità differenti b’kollaborazzjoni mal-Kunsilli Lokali tal-Għarb, Ħ’Attard, Ħal Lija, Ħaż-Żebbuġ, Marsaxlokk, in-Naxxar, Pembroke, San Pawl il-Baħar, Ħaż-Żabbar, iż-Żejtun, iż-Żurrieq u Victoria f’Għawdex.
Il-Junior Science Club għandu l-għan li jipprovdi lill-istudenti tal-Primarja (ta’ etajiet minn 7 sa 11-il sena) opportunitajiet biex jesperjenzaw investigazzjonijiet tax-xjenza u attivitajiet prattiċi relatati max-xjenza li jestendu t-tagħlim tagħhom lil hinn mill-ambjent tal-klassi. Matul is-sessjonijiet, l-istudenti jipprattikaw ħiliet ta’ proċess relatati max-xjenza u jrawmu il-ħsieb kritiku, jkunu kapaċi jaħsbu, jiżvluppaw il-kapaċita’ li jikkomunikaw kif ukoll il-ħiliet u l-kompetenzi ta’ awtovalutazzjoni.
