Exploring Patterns : Kindergarten Activity No. 5

Patterns are arrangements of things that repeat in a logical way. These arrangements of colours, shapes, gestures, sounds, images, and numbers are a crucial concept for young children and contribute heavily to their early Mathematics understanding.

Have children create patterns using different coloured objects. These objects may be everyday objects such as bottle caps, buttons, sweets, toy building blocks, counters from board games etc.

Dear parents
I have produced these short video tutorials which demonstrate how pupils can access eBooks on the Malta Libraries portal. One shows how these can be accessed from the LearnPad tablet while the other one shows how to access them from the Malta Libraries website.
