Jum il-Karnival : Avviż

Għeżież Ġenituri

Nixtiequ nfakkrukom li nhar il-Ġimgħa 9 ta’ Frar jibda l-karnival. Dakinhar it-tfal jistgħu jiġu l-iskola bil-kostum tal-karnival. Importanti li l-kostum ma jkunx goff u li t-tfal jkunu kapaċi jmorru t-toilet waħidhom.

Peress li dakinhar l-edukaturi kollha jridu jattendu laqgħa, l-iskola għall-istudenti tispiċċa f’12:00pm u għalhekk il-ħin tal-ħruġ ikun 11:45am (Kindergarten) u 11:50am-12:00pm (Primarja). Dakinhar ma jkunx hawn servizz tal-Klabb 3-16.

Dear Parents

We would like to remind you that Friday 9th February is Carnival Day. The children can come to school in their carnival costume.  It is important that the costume is not bulky in a way that it hinders the children from going to the toilet on their own.

On the day all educators have to attend an afternoon meeting. Therefore school will finish at 12:00pm and dismissal will start at 11:45am (Kindergarten) and 11:50am (Primary). On this day Klabb 3-16 will be closed.

Thanks

Language Awareness Week – Special Assembly

During Language Awareness Week, students across different year groups were engaged in a variety of activities aimed at promoting language learning and appreciation.

On Friday 2nd February, we had a special assembly where the Year 6.4 class explained the importance of learning languages. Learning languages is important because it helps us communicate with people from different places and understand their cultures better. It also makes our brains work better and can open up many job opportunities around the world. Learning languages let us keep our traditions alive, and it’s like having a key to explore new countries when we travel. It’s not just about talking; it helps us learn about history, stories, and different ways of thinking. So, when we learn languages, we’re not just learning words – we’re connecting with the world in exciting and meaningful ways!
