Kids Dig Science

If you want your kids to spend a couple of hours playing with science, this is the place to be. Circuits have never been so electrifying.

How much thought have you given to circuits today? Am guessing electrical loops wasn’t the first thing to cross your mind at the crack of dawn. And yet, they are everywhere, absolutely everywhere. In our phones, computers, tablets, washing machines, lighting systems, car, the list just goes on and on.

Now, if you had given circuits some thought, you may have concluded that your body is also made of a series of circuits. Take the regulation of your body temperature for instance, this system works complete with current, switches, triggers and sensors. So if you still refuse to give circuits the recognition they deserve but your kids are enthralled by the fact that they can control what an electrical current can do, join us on the 16th February at 3pm Spazju Kreattiv for some seriously loopy fun.

Special Assembly – Peace and Non-Violence

During last Wednesday’s special assembly we focused on the topic of peace and non-violence. As most of you may know, the 30th of January is the anniversary of Ghandi’s death. Mahatma Ghandi was a peace activist who was well known for his non-violence beliefs. Ghandi was the person who led an Indian Independence movement against the British. This was done through peace and non-violence. Ghandi led non-violent protests against the British and even when he was locked up in prison he used to pass on his message by fasting for several days.

During this assembly the children had the chance to spread a message of love and peace. It is essential to not just learn about who Ghandi was and what he did, it is important to put into practice what he used to preach:

Be the change you wish to see in the world!

Let’s start from home, in our classrooms and communities. Let’s spread the word of love and goodness.
