Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – Year 4 – Special Assembly

In this special assembly, Ms Claudine’s children of year 4 took part in an engaging but short play to raise awareness on the importance of REDUCING trash, REUSING things and to show that several materials are RECYCLABLE. In this way we will all be RESPECTING our nature and the environment.

Afterwards all the school children cheered with joy and clapped while they watched a video prepared by this same class. The music video (which can be found below) is based on the song “Moves like Jagger” by Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera, but it is based on the children’s emphasis on the lesser use of natural resources, recycling, and saving our Earth. We hope that you enjoy it. The lyrics are there for you to sing along too!

Logħob Tradizzjonali Malti – Year 4 – Special Assembly

Nhar il-Ħamis 5 ta’ Mejju, ħarġet ġurnata sabiħa, ġurnata ferm ideali biex toħrog barra għax-xemx tilgħab u tiddeverti.  Għalhekk il-klassi tar-raba’ sena ta’ Ms. Sephorah ippreżentaw diversi logħob tradizzjonali Malti waqt special assembly.  Waqt din il-preżentazzjoni, it-tfal urew diversi logħob li kienu jilagħbu t-tfal fl-imgħoddi, logħob li sfortunatament qed jintesa u jintilef.  Għallmuna kif tintlagħab Dawra Durella, Iż-Żunzana ddur iddur, Bum Bum il-Bieb, il-Passju u l-Qbiż tal-Ħabel.  Fl-aħħar urew ix-xewqa biex it-tfal tal-lum jagħżlu li jilagħbu logħob bħal dan minflok bil-kompjuter jew bil-PlayStation.  B’hekk inżommu ħajja l-identita’ tagħna bħala Maltin.

World Book Day Competition

Kienet kbira l-konkorrenza ta’ tfal mir-raba’, ħames u sitt sena li ipparteċipaw fil-kompetizzjoni ta’ World Book Day. Dawn it-tfal ipparteċipaw billi kitbu storja u għamluha fi ktieb żgħir. U bi pjaċir kienu tlitt itfal li rebħu l-kompetizzjoni u għaxra oħra li ħadu premju ta’ konsolazzjoni.
