Dear pupils and staff
I have now returned back to Sweden.
Thursday morning I had to take away the ice from my car before leaving for school as the night temperature had fallen to -5 degrees.
Then it’s easy to revive all good memories from my weak at your school.
I enjoyed participating in the Assembly every morning. We rarely have assemblies in my school and I found them interesting and that they are a way to make the school come together and to make everyone aware of what’s happening at school.
You are very good at singing together and I almost learnt the National Anthem of Malta.
During my whole week I especially studied how you work with skills in Literacy in your school and I brought back many good examples.
I had the opportunity to visit your beautiful island together with Year 6 classes. The hike-trail passed near St. Paul’s Island where the view made me stop in admiration. Luckily the whole group stopped for a snack so I could keep up with them!
I was also in for a real surprise; Class 6.1 Swans had prepared a dance to the song Euphoria at Thursday Assembly. They made a very good performance, all dressed in yellow and blue (colours of the Swedish flag).
I’d like to thank you all for letting me share your school activities.
Ms Lena Hägle, Sweden.
