Għeżież Ġenituri

Is-sena skolastika 2021/2022 dalwaqt tibda.  Aħna ninsabu lkoll ħerqana biex nerġgħu naraw l-istudenti l-iskola.  Bħas-sena l-oħra, din se tkun sena skolastika b’differenza minħabba ċ-ċirkostanzi li għaddejjin minnhom bħalissa.  Għalhekk nitlobkom li tieħdu nota ta’ dawn il-punti li ġejjin.

• Id-dħul fl-iskola ser jibda jkun maqsum f’ħinijiet differenti biex jiġu evitati folol f’ħin wieħed.
• Il-ħruġ ukoll ser ikun f’ħinijiet differenti.
• Id-dħul ser isir minn żewġ entraturi. Il-bieb li jagħti għal Triq l-Iskola u l-bieb li jagħti għal Triq Ħal Niklusi.   Dettalji dwar liema gruppi ser jużaw liema bieb bħala entratura jinstabu fuq il-website.
• Il-ġenituri huma mitluba li jiċċekjaw it-temperatura tat-tfal qabel jiġu l-iskola. Tfal b’temperatura ta’ 37.2°c jew aktar għandhom jibqgħu d-dar.   Tfal morda bis-sogħla, uġiegħ ta’ ras, uġiegħ ta’ żaqq, uġiegħ fil-griżmejn, eċċ għandhom jibqgħu d-dar.   Tfal li jirritornaw l-iskola, iridu jġibu ċertifikat mediku li huma tajbin biex jattendu l-iskola.
• Ser tkun qed tittieħed it-temperatura tal-istudenti kollha u kull min jidħol fl-iskola.
• Ġenituri mhux ser jitħallew jidħlu fl-iskola. Kull komunikazzjoni bejn il-ġenituri u l-għalliema/LSEs ser tkun permezz tat-telefon jew emails.   Nitolbukom biex ma tibagħtux noti lill-għalliema.
• Il-laqgħat tal-ġenituri li jsiru fil-bidu tas-sena skolastika u matul is-sena ser isiru permezz tal-MS Teams.
• It-tfal kollha minn tliet snin ‘il fuq huma mitluba li jilbsu maskra jew visor f’kull ħin li jkunu barra mill-klassi. Huwa importanti li t-tfal ikunu jafu kif jilbsu u jneħħu l-maskri waħedhom.   Il-maskri għandhom ikunu labelled.
• L-oġġetti li jġibu t-tfal magħhom l-iskola għandhom ikunu labelled kollha. Mhux ser jitħalla li jsir self ta’ affarijiet.   Importanti li t-tfal ma jġibux affarijiet bla bżonn magħhom l-iskola.
• Importanti li t-tfal iġibu hand santizer, alcohol wipes u tissues.
• F’għeluq snin it-tfal mhux permess li jġibu kejk. Huma aċċettati biss muffins jew sponges li jkunu f’wrappers separati.
• Importanti ħafna li l-uniformijiet jinħaslu ta’ spiss u li kulħadd iżomm iġene tajba.

Dan kollu ser ikun qed isir sabiex l-iskola tkun post sikur għall-istudenti u l-istaff tal-iskola kollha. Infakkrukom sabiex tkomplu ssegwu l-website tal-iskola għaliex inkunu qed intellgħu informazzjoni importanti għalikom.

Dear parents/ guardians,

The scholastic year 2021 – 2022 is about to start. We are looking forward to welcoming our students to school. Like the previous year, this scholastic year is going to be different due to the circumstances we find ourselves in. On account of this, I would like you to take note of the following points.

• Arrival in school will be staggered at different times so as to avoid large number of persons entering the school premises at the same time.
• School dismissal will also be staggered.
• Students will be entering school from two different entrances – the entrance leading to Triq l-Iskola and Triq Hal Niklusi. Details about which class bubble will be using which entrance are available on the website.
• Parents are obliged to take their children’s temperature before coming to school. Anyone with a temperature of 37.2°C or higher will not be allowed in the school premises. Children showing signs of illness or any related symptoms such as coughing, headache, tummy ache, sore throat etc, are to stay at home. Students will need to present a medical certificate stating that they are fit to attend school upon their return.
• The temperature of all the members of the school community will be taken upon entering the school premises. Parents will not be allowed on the school premises. Communication will be through telephone calls or emails. Do not send any notes with the children.
• The parents’ meetings, which are usually held at the beginning of the scholastic year and other subsequent meetings will be held online via MS Teams.
• Children over 3 years are obliged to wear a face mask or visor each time they go out of class. It is of utmost importance that all children know how to put on and how to take off the mask independently. Masks are to be labelled for easy identification.
• Each and every item brought to school by the students is to be labelled. Children won’t be allowed to borrow or lend any items. Children are encouraged to bring only the essential school items.
• It is of utmost importance that children bring with them a hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes and tissues.
• No cakes are allowed to school on the children’s birthdays. Children are encouraged to bring separately wrapped muffins or cake sponges.
• It is highly important that school uniforms are regularly washed, and proper hygiene is kept.

These measures are being taken so as to keep the school premises safe for all the school’s community members. We encourage you to keep following the school’s website for any important updates.

Dear Parent/Guardian

The Directorate for Research, Lifelong Learning and Employability (DRLLE) within the Ministry for Education (MFED) will be collecting and processing data of students registered within State Education Institutions, to carry out its functions and legal obligations.

Student data will be processed and analysed within a system, to assist DRLLE in deriving Predictive Analyses, which can then help MFED in planning policies, strategies and directives to improve the education system.  For example, the Directorate for research would like to know how many children aged between 14 to 16 years have left school completely. The Directorate does not need to know the names and surnames or identity numbers of those children, but needs only to know the date of birth of those children. The name, surname  and identity number of those children shall therefore be replaced by a simple number so that no one would know who they are.  The Directorate would thus know only the number children who have left school at those ages.  The Directorate can then analyse and research that data to discover why those children have left school and so the Directorate can develop systems and policies to help reduce this number of school leavers

Student data held in the system will carry a fictitious reference which will not point to any real details.

Din hija biss notifika u ma hemm bżonn l-ebda azzjoni minn naħa tiegħek.

Id-Direttorat għar-Riċerka, Tagħlim Tul il-Ħajja u Impjegabilità (DRLLE) fi ħdan il-Ministeru għall-Edukazzjoni (MFED) se jkun qed jiġbor u jipproċessa data ta’ studenti rreġistrati fl-Istituzzjonijiet tal-Edukazzjoni tal-Istat, biex iwettaq il-funzjonijiet u l-obbligi legali tiegħu.

Id-data tal-istudenti se tiġi pproċessata u analizzata fi ħdan sistema biex tgħin lid-DRLLE jikseb Analiżi Predittiva, li mbagħad tista’ tgħin lill-MFED fl-ippjanar ta’ politiki, strateġiji u direttivi biex tittejjeb is-sistema edukattiva. Pereżempju, id-Direttorat għar-Riċerka jixtieq ikun jaf kemm tfal minn 14 sa 16-il sena ma baqgħux jattendu skola. Id-Direttorat m’għandux għalfejn ikun jaf l-ismijiet u l-kunjomijiet jew in-numri tal-karta tal-identità ta’ dawn it-tfal, iżda jeħtieġ biss ikun jaf id-data tat-twelid tagħhom.  L-isem, kunjom u numru tal-karta tal-identità ta’ dawn it-tfal jisgħu għalhekk ikunu sostitwiti b’numru sempliċi sabiex ħadd ma jkun jaf min huma. Id-Direttorat għalhekk ikun jaf biss in-numru ta’ tfal li telqu mill-iskola f’dawk l-etajiet. Id-Direttorat jista’ mbagħad janalizza u jirriċerka dik id-data biex jiskopri għalfejn dawn it-tfal telqu mill-iskola u għalhekk id-Direttorat ikun jista’ jiżviluppa sistemi u politiki li jgħinu biex inaqqsu n-numru ta’ tfal li jitilqu mill-iskola.

Id-data tal-istudenti miżmuma fis-sistema se ġġorr referenza fittizja li ma twassal għal ebda dettalji reali.
