Visit by K9 unit
At Siggiewi primary the kindergarten class of Ms. Maria, currently under the supervision of Ms. Cheyenne a student teacher from the University of Malta, is following the theme of community heroes. As part of their learning they invited the community police and the k9-unit to come and talk to the children. During the activity the children got to watch them along side their trained dogs. They had time to ask questions and take pictures. This experience helped them to understand and appreciate the work of the police officers as well as their dogs. As a thank you we gave them a card and healthy home made muffins which were prepared by the children on the previous day.
