All you need to know about science.
Nhar il-Ħamis 25 ta’ Frar, fis-sala tal-iskola ttellgħet attività bl-isem ta’ ‘All you need to know about Science’. Għal din l-attività kien hemm preżenti t-tfal tar-raba’, il-ħames u s-sitt sena. Għal madwar siegħa u kwart l-istudenti kellhom spettaklu mhux tas-soltu mimli reċtar, ċajt u daħk kif ukoll esperimenti li bihom tgħallmu aktar dwar ix-xjenza fil-ħajja ta’ kuljum.
Iż-żewġ atturi li tellgħu dan ix-xow missew diversi temi xjentifiċi dwar il-bidu tad-dinja, l-arja, l-ilma, il-mikrobi, il-gravità u s-sistema diġestiva tal-bniedem fost oħrajn. L-atturi interpretaw il-partijiet ta’ diversi xjentisti magħrufin billi libsu kostumi filwaqt li tkellmu dwar ix-xogħol tagħhom. Fost dawn kien hemm il-karattri ta’ Sir Isaac Newton u Louis Pasteur. Bil-komiċità tagħhom, l-involviment tat-tfal u esperimenti interessanti fuq il-palk, żammew lit-tfal attenti u bi tbissima fuq fommhom matul l-attività kollha.

Year 4.1 ~ Ms Claudine’s Class awarded for eTwinning project 2014/15
During Scholastic Year 2014/2015, Year 4.1 Parrots of Ms Claudine Chircop’s class participated in an eTwinning project called We Explore, We Create, We Evaluate…We! Are Digikids
On Friday the 29th of January 2016, the eTwinning National Support Service, in collaboration with the eLearning Centre – EMBED Awards – held the eTwinning National Awards covering the scholastic year 2014-2015.
During the awards ceremony, the eTwinning National Support Service Staff presented certificates to Ms Claudine Chircop with both the 2015 National Quality Label as well as the 2015 European Quality Label.
The European Quality Label is a second mark of success, awarded to schools whose project partners have received a National Quality Label and have been put forward by their National support service. The European Quality Label is awarded only once a year. European Quality Labels are not being awarded automatically but have to be nominated by at least one National Support Service after a rigorous screening process.
With great pride we also announce that Ms Claudine has also been awarded a prize since the project We Explore, We Create, We Evaluate…We! Are Digikids
has also placed 1st place in the Category: ETWINNERS WHO HAVE BEEN PARTICIPATING IN PROJECTS FOR 2+ YEARS – Primary European.
On the 29th of February 2016, a special assembly was held at school where tokens were distributed to the pupils who formed part of Year 4.1 during last scholastic year.
