The Office of the Commissioner for Children is collaborating with the Ministry for Social Policy and Children’s Rights as well as the Positive Parenting Committee to organise an event for children and their parents/guardians. The aim of the event is to listen to families so as to identify challenges and share good practices. Below you can find an invitation with further information as well as the programme of the event which is taking place on the 10^th of April at the Meeting Place in Marsa. Aktar kmieni dax-xahar, il-klassi tal-4.4 għamlu attività li matulha t-tfal tal-klassi tgħallmu kif jagħmlu fruit kebabs. Wara li għamlu l-fruit kebabs, it-tfal kitbu kitba fil-forma ta’ istruzzjoni dwar kif tagħmel kebab.

This outing was part of the Siggiewi Heritage Trail being compiled by our Ekoskola committe. Year 1.3 also combined this outing with the project being carried out in class ‘Structures’. While the pupils appreciated their local natural heritage they also learned about structures used on water.. boats and their use. This was done through a talk with a fisherman who berths his boat at Għar Lapsi. He is also a parent of one of the pupils in our class. These activities serve as a link between the school and the community, the environment where our pupils live.
