Eco4 Kids – An E Twinning Project

Class 3.3 of 2021 /2022 was awarded the quality label for an E Twinning project the class took part in.  The project with the name Eco4Kids showcased the work the students did in the community and local environment. This project helped to enhance our locality by planting 16 Aleppo Pine trees and sowing several Carob seeds.  Children became active members of the community by engaging into a project which reduces pollution, improves the children’s own health and wellbeing and develop their Science and Social Studies curriculum.  As 21st century learners, the children did not only learn about the impacts of climate change but worked on something that impacted positively this challenge we are facing.

Eco4Kids helped the sharing of good practices and ideas between the educators and students of the different schools. Sharing our experience will hopefully encourage others to engage in similar projects and make Malta greener.

Year 4.4 Special Assembly

Class year 4.4 prepared a special assembly about occupations, particularly about people who help us in our community. The pupils shared and explained the role and responsibilities of these people, their struggles and their favourite part of their job. The children highlighted what they learned, hence, the importance to appreciate and respect each and every occupation as we are all in need of each other if we are to live in a united community.
