YR 1.1 Special Assembly

Matul dawn l-aħħar ġimgħat, it-tfal tal-year 1.1, investigaw it-tema tal-ikel.
Waħda mill-attivitajiet li għamlu kienet dik li tgħallmu jisseparaw l-ikel skont il-kategoriji: karboidrati, proteini, prodotti tal-ħalib, ħaxix u frott u żjut u xaħam. Huma ppreżentaw dak li tgħallmu waqt special assembly.
L-ikel li ntuża waqt din l-assembly ġie mogħti bħala donazzjoni lill-Fondazzjoni Suret il-Bniedem.

It-tfal tgħallmu japprezzaw l-ikel li jkollhom u ġew konxji tal-bżonn li jgħinu lill-oħrajn.

Year 4 Young Scientist Competition Winners

During a special activity hosted by our school, our college presented awards and certificates to those year 4 students who took part in the College Young Scientist Competition. The projects submitted were judged by a 3 person panel made up of representatives from the Curriculum Department, the Science Centre and Esplora. Congratulations to Mimi Peresso and Nathan Ray Spiteri who placed first and second respectively in the competition. A special thanks also goes to Esplora, who sponsored the gifts.

Making Greetings Cards using Electrical Circuits

Year 2 students have designed and made Mother’s Day cards which incorporate an electrical circuit. They have used copper tape and LEDs to light up the card and make it more attractive. This project is a direct result of the InDemand Erasmus+ project with four other European primary schools, which our school has successfully coordinated. A big well done to all!
