Visit by the Guide Dog Foundation

Our pupils in years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 had a short talk about the use of guide dogs in helping in the mobility of blind people. Our pupils had the opportunity to ask questions to the three blind people who addressed the event and witnessed one of the dogs helping his master moving safely up the aisle in the hall. Representatives of the EkoSkola committee concluded the event by encouraging all pupils to get 50c and colour one part of the picture of a dog in their class. All proceeds will go to the Maltese Guide Dog Association to help them buy and train another guide dog.

We are collecting Plastic Bottle Caps.

Like last year, we, the EkoSkola Committee, are again collecting plastic bottle caps. The more plastic caps we collect, the more money GreenPak donates to the Community Chest Fund!  It’s important that you do not throw away any plastic caps. Any type of caps will do, such as those of water bottles, minerals, shampoo bottles and also those of detergent bottles.  Help us help!

Għan

L-Għan ta’ dan il-kors hu sabiex permezz ta’ qsim ta’ esperjenzi niskopru metodi differenti u effettivi ta’ trobbija fiż-żminijiet tal-lum. Fost is-suġġetti li se niddiskutu nsibu:

  1. Liema stil ta’ tmexxija qed nużaw biex ikollna riżultati mixtieqa?
  2. Kemm tabilħaqq qed ninkoraġġixxu lil uliedna jibnu stima tagħhom infushom?
  3. Kemm qed nifhmu l-imġiba u l-għanijiet ta’ wliedna?
  4. X’nifhmu b’responsabbiltà?
  5. Kemm hemm komunikazzjoni effettiva fil-familja tagħna?
  6. Kemm aħna mudelli effettivi biex uliedna ma jaqgħux vittmi tad-droga?

Importanti ħafna li tattendu jekk jista’ jkun bħala koppja għal dan il-kors tant meħtieġ fiż-żminijiet tal-lum. Tajjeb li ninvestu ftit sigħat għall-ġid tal-għeżież uliedna.

Il-kors jikkonsisti:

F’sitt laqgħat ta’ sagħtejn il-waħda (laqgħa darba fil-ġimgħa) fis-sala tal-iskola.

Dan il-kors huwa bla ħlas. Min se jattendi importanti li jixtri ktieb informattiv dwar il-kors li jiswa €5.
