As part of the College Diversity week activities, Ms. Rachel and Mr. Nello conducted a session with our Year 4 students, encompassing three distinct activities. The session included utilization of the rowing machine, engagement in a game of boċċi, and participation in an obstacle race.
The children not only enjoyed these activities but also gained insights into the realm of the Paralympics, fostering both enjoyment and educational value.
As part of the College Diversity week activities, an engaging session took place at our school involving Year 5 and Year 6 students, facilitated by two distinguished members of the CRPD (Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities). This session, held in the school hall, provided a significant and enlightening experience for our learners, offering valuable insights into matters related to disability rights and fostering a deeper understanding among our students.
We are proud to announce that our school was awarded its 8th Green Flag Award during a special awards ceremony held under the patronage of the President of Malta, H.E. Dr G Vella. The award was received on behalf of the school by Nathan Bonello and Beppe Borg, the outgoing Ekoskola president and vice-president. A special thanks goes to the school’s Ekoskola Committee and to our link teacher Ms Doreen Spiteri for their work and dedication.
