Months of hard work culminated in a two-hour performance by the Primary, Middle and Secondary Schools students held at the Robert Samut Hall on Tuesday 30th April. The performances were all about themes related to Global Citizenship Education Development.
Our school was represented by Year 5.2 who presented a short play and received an award for the most powerful message. A song written by Hailey Micallef and Aalayah Fareed and sung by them accompanied by the backing singers Zelania Borg, Kayoa Psaila and Katrika Grima placed second in the song category. A special thanks goes to Mr Peter Cilia, Mr Ludwig Galea, Ms Marlene Camilleri and Ms Maria Sammut for preparing our students for this event.
The Head of College Network coordinated this event with the support of the College Support Officer, the clerk’s office, the respective school leaders and their Assistants, the Education Officers for Music, Drama, Art and Global Citizenship Education Development, the Head of Department for Drama, Drama and Music teachers within St Ignatius College.
