On Monday 20th November, year 5.3 prepared a special assembly regarding diversity. Students presented the topic by discussing a book they had read previously in class. The book underlined how we are all different from each other, which makes us unique in our own way. Students underlined how we face our daily activities in our own different ways, how we can all achieve our aims and most importantly, the importance of accepting each other just as we are. Our class wanted to show that at the end of the day, when we join forces together, we can create beautiful things – that is why we took the concept of different puzzle pieces which together can create something beautiful.
