Dear parents/curators,
Mathematics is one of the subjects on which the school has been working and strives to improve the level and further develop the children’s problem-solving skills. To this end the CPA approach has been introduced in the classes of children attending year 3 to 6. This strategy helps children use physical and visual aids to build on their understanding of abstract topics. To continue strengthening and building on this skill, a webinar for parents of children attending these year groups will be held as follows:
19 January – For parents, whose children are in year 6
27 January – For parents, whose children are in year 3
4 February – For parents, whose children are in year 5
8 February – For parents, whose children are in year 4
We encourage you to take part in this webinar and experience the Mathematical strategies that are being used in the classrooms.
