During Scholastic Year 2011/2012, Year 1 Sunflowers participated in an eTwinning project called Spoony goes around the World. Lately this project was awarded the 2012 European Quality Label.
The European Quality Label is a second mark of success, awarded to schools whose project partners have received a National Quality Label and have been put forward by their National support service. The European Quality Label is awarded only once a year, these projects will now feature on the eTwinning Portal. Only receivers of the European Quality Label can apply for and win a European Prize. As of 2012, European Quality Labels are not being awarded automatically but have to be nominated by at least one National Support Service after a rigorous screening process. Well done to all the teachers and students involved!
