On the 10th of October, the Catch the Drop campaign 2012/2013 was launched at Siġġiewi Primary in the presence of the Hon. George Pullicino, Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs. The activity started with a video illustrating the importance of saving water. The school choir then performed the official Catch the Drop song. The activity followed with a presentation on the Fawwara Aqueduct by two pupils of the school whilst another two talked about techniques for saving water. Minister Pullicino presented Year 1 and Year 2 children with books and HSBC representatives presented the school with extra sets of books. Also present was Harvey, the mascot of the campaign. Mr Decelis, Head of School, was presented with a memento and concluded the activity with a speech.
